A Momentus Day

First thing this morning, I registered for the Paris Marathon. It's now official - I'm running a marathon on my 40th birthday through the streets of Paris (that's Paris, France FYI, not Paris, Texas!! Nothing against Paris, Texas. I'm sure it's lovely and all. But it ain't France!)

And after Jason got the last of his braces on, we stopped by the DMV. And he got his driving permit. OMG. I am so not ready to have a child behind the wheel of my car! Heaven help us all (but especially me cause I very well may stroke out before he can get his license. And that's going to really put a damper on the marathon! Good thing I got the insurance!)

I didn't know if they allowed picture taking at the DMV and I didn't want to be responsible for getting us kicked out (my luck, that would totally happen!!) So I sneakily took this picture of Jas while he was taking his test.

And here he is, a newly minted Driving Learner's Permit in-hand. He was so happy, he forgot to self-consciously refuse to show his teeth while smiling!

1 Leavin' me some love!:

I couldn't ever run a marathon. But Paris is a great incentive.
