I have been busy crocheting. Lots of hats and headbands for Skye, testing out patterns and designs. I'm working on a baby blanket for a coworker's daughter, she's due anyday.
The Christmas tree is already up, it's a fakey. As a kid, I swore I'd never have an artificial tree, I hated them. They were REAL. And then a few years ago, there was a crazy post-Turkey Day sale on fake trees. We were able to get a $200 tree for $50! That's what we were spending on a real tree. This is a 7+ footer and we can't have too big a star on top or it won't fit! I love having a tree that goes all the way to the ceiling! It's a beautiful, full tree. And the best parts: I don't have to remember to water it (I barely remember to water the children!) I don't have to vacuum up pine needles. And the best: I sleep peacefully at night with the tree fully ablaze and not a worry about the thing catching fire! Oh, and no wondering about how to dispose of the thing come
LOL - I'm laughing at my own "creativity". Did I mention that my NAKED tree is up? And has been for almost a week now. Yeah, I'm great with the ideas. Terrible with the follow through. The makings for the ornaments for our Halloweentown Christmas Tree on in bags by my bed and the trunk of the car, along with the rest of the decorations and two wreaths I need to put together. Oh and I'm doing things like putting Santa hats on our plastic jack-o-lanterns and small wreaths around a few gargoyle statues we have. Things like that. I have all the supplies. I just need to get moving on them. Guess I should start now!!

1 Leavin' me some love!:
I am impressed that you even attempt "theme" decorating. If I can just get something up, I'll be happy.
